Every season Stratford Rotary Hockey names a coach of the year for each age division, and from among those winners selects the Murray Carter Memorial Award winner as the Rotary Hockey coach of the year.  Murray Carter was a longtime coach in Rotary Hockey who exhibited the ideals of fair play and good sportsmanship.

2009 - 10 Rick Pauli

Rick Pauli, holding large plaque, was named winner of the Murray Carter Memorial Award as overall coach of the year in Rotary Hockey for 2009-10, as well as being the bantam division coach of the year. Division coaches of the year were, from left,Mark Reid (novice), Chad Brooks (tyke) and Todd Nickel (mite). Absent from the photo were Don Plummer (peewee) and Todd Charlton (atom).
